The Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, owned by the Winklevoss brothers, took first place in the rating of trading platforms prepared by the analytical company CryptoCompare.

The analysis of the exchanges is carried out according to several parameters, including compliance, reliability and quality available in the asset listing. Gemini scored 79.38 points, receiving the "AA" mark. In addition, only Coinbase fell into this category.

Other exchanges with high ratings are divided into categories A and BB. According to the report, they accounted for 40% of global cryptocurrency trading volume in the 2nd quarter of this year, which is 8% higher than in the 4th quarter of 2019. This indicates that large platforms are taking market share away from exchanges with a lower rating (C-E), analysts say.
